    Brake reservoir leaking?

While doing some maintenance I notice the brake reservoir seems to be seeping out of this scrunched/nipple/connection.
There is a bit of fluid underneath this, and when I place my finger on the side/opening, a bit comes off/out.
    Pictures attached.

Is this normal design? (having the connection melted/crimped shut?)
Can I place a stop-tube of some sort on this? Or should the reservoir be replaced?

That tube is used to supply brake fluid to the clutch master cylinder, when a manual trans is installed. The crimped end should not leak though. A replacement reservoir is not a bad idea, and you'll be able to see the fluid level much easier.

Ironically enough mine is leaking too.
Except mine is broken from the intense heat and the reservoir cracked open along the molded joint that makes up the top and bottom halves.
