If only they bring in the 4Motion in Singapore - here we have only the 1.8T, not even the Highline Series, except for the Variant and V6 Non-4Motion.
Have it for over ten days now and there are 500 km on the clock. I still have the honeymoon feeling.
The 18" rim ride is great and feel much better than my lowered 205/50/16 Golf. Well, the stock springs are indeed on the soft side, but don't want to give up too much comfort yet. It is smooth which I've never expected from 235/40/18/8.5 rims. The funny thing is people is letting me throu on the highway. Passats are agressive looking aren't they ?! Or is it due to the xenon lights ?
They must have mistaken you as an undercovered cop! (rumors say the police have a few Passats as undercovered cop cars).Originally Posted by Folks
Are your wheels stock? I thought V6 4motion only comes with "Phoenix" wheels.
By the way, welcome to the club! since everyone from all over the places have greeted you, someone like me who lives in Hong Kong ought to say "hi" as well. Looks like you picked your Passat up in Kowloon Bay, eh?
abs0, fatsheep, PPSUAY, Loverboy,
Thank you all for your comments ! It's cool, I am a undercovered Passat cop You just remind of something else. I was driving next to a cop on a bike and he was screening me, my car, from head to toe :suspicio: It was really funny the way he looked. It was like T1000 in T2 you know :suspicio:
I dont know the name of the stock rims, so they are called Phoenix
Yes, I took the delivery at KLB indeed.
Welcome to ClubB5!
I do believe HK police took delivery of a few W8s as undercovers... I think one's a champaign color one... well well well you can simply install a strobe kit and you can mock your B5.5 into an undercover cop car
Nice and sweet Variant, hope to see more of it
damn thats hot!!! i want a variant now!
Very nice. As a parent I've always wondered why people don't lower their car when they have infants... Is it you don't want too much of a jolt in your ride while you child sleeps? Well if that's the reason, I bet you're counting the days until he/she gets to be a toddler, because that variant will look and feel HOT when you lower it. My 4 year old girl loves the ride, and the way daddy drives.
you upgraded to BBS RC?
