Help with compass zones and speakers

Sorry if this has be posted before, but I am new to the forum.

I bought a used 06 Passat V6 a few months ago from VW dealer, Certified. It did not have the owners manual and I have never gotten one as promised.

Looking to change the compass zone? I live in Texas

The volume "turns down" as I accelerate. How do I change this?

Also, is there a download for the 06 Passat OM?

    Thanks in advance!

The volume shouldn't turn down? perhaps it's being drowned out.
On your RCD unit (radio) go to Menu/Setup/Gala...this adjusts the strength of the auto volume which increases volume at higher speeds when surrounding noise increases.

Depending upon where you are in texas you should be zone 6 or 7..i am in colorado and in zone 6 but that covers all the way up and down the us in that area then moves on to zone 7 moving east from there...so part of west texas falls under 6..give it a try.. When you set the zone (calibrate) you must drive in a complete circle.. So empty parking lots work best.. I drive 3x around just to make sure.. Mine is also a 2006 and gets screwed up some times so i have to reset it.
