Help window won't go all the way up!

    I have a 2002 b5.5 1.8t with electric windows.
The front driver's window won't go all the way up. It has some cracking noise when I am trying to put the window up, and it just stops about 2 inches from being closed. Any suggestions?

probably a problem with the mechanism that slides the window up and down, or something may be blocking it. you should probably consider taking it to a shop.

I had the same problem with rr passenger window about 5 mo ago. Dealership repair notes state "rr window off track, replaced window retaining" part $2.63, labor cost...$170.00. Still a little miffed that it wasn't covered under my cpo. Good luck with yours.

Search for "window regulator fix" It is an easy fix, and very easy to do at home, don't take it to the dealership.

Also your pictue is coming up as a red "X"
