    IIRC 90 lbs/ft

    89 ft/lbs for an 02 1.8T, according to Haynes manual.

    I torque mine (1999) to 89 ft/lbs per the Bentley Manual specs. I also use a bit of anti-seize around the hub. When I first got this Passat (used), it took two mechanics, two large hammers and 30 minutes to get the back wheels off. They salt the roads heavily all winter here.
