excellent idea.

but i'm gonna race some civics in my geo-gti to get there

ah, i think we've all raced someone at one point or another, as long as you're not a jackass, i've got no problem with it.

at least you're choosing the right car to race civics in...aka the GeoTI. Your passat(s) are too slow. I put the parentheses in because only one passat runs.

This happens everywhere for alot of things. I have a close friend that is a police officer in the next town over. He tells me that the captain will tell three to four officers to park 3/4 mile away from a bar (changes bar every day/week) and pull over people leaving the bar.

Almost like entrapment.

I have ... some view about street racing. River st in Holyoke, MA was the place to be from 1994 to 1996. I had a 1978 Z28 with 4/11 gears. FUN 1/4 mile car!. got smoke from a Nissan Z with a 350 even week. Now, I don't do that stuff anymore. Like other, 3am with no one on the road, I may or may no open up the car and say WEeeeeeeeee like I am 18 years old again. But, traffic, day time, people around... I won't do it.

I will not lie. I would go to watch the street races. BEHIND the starting point. love watching the launch.

im the slowest car on the "list" most of the cars that show up are 11sec and faster ... few of them have chutes on the back of the car car.

i apologize for blowin up earlier, everyone is entitled to there opinion and i was stating mine just frustrated over it that i had to be the one that made the thread it would happen in.

i do go to track but they usually have test and tune on a thurs night and i work third shift. the days i can go i do. on the other hand they raise the price it seems every month and it costs 25 to race and 10 just to watch. so many people come out to these things that you may only get 3 passes and 2 of them are hot lapped ... so that is not worth my money

dude, I didnt think you was doing anything wrong. It was on a closed/dead road. And you all look like you knew what you guys were doing. So its not really street racing if its a slow or closed road.

Weird? They ask you to make a donation but mention twice that it's completely optional.

Shit I'd buy a meal anyway. Harvest nut and grain with blueberries and banana and a pot of coffee. IHOP is the shit.
