well you asked for one that's illuminated... :poke:
how about a touchpad instead of a trackball? i have one that i bought a LONG time ago when i considered putting a carputer in my merc cougar (back in 01) it would have worked had i not wrecked the stupid car... twice... :puke:

the brand is Fellowes... its got a white case, but i anticipated sanding and painting with plastic paint... on the back it reads "Standard TouchPad 99840" and references "Slidepoint", which im assuming is the company that actually makes the "pad" part of the touchpad itself...

i'll see what i can do for a pic...

For the money I would go with the presenter. But the best thing would be that remote that the guy with the F150 had. It was a full featured remote tha also worked as a mouse. I dont rember what it was called. The only drawback was tha it was infrared instead of wireless but he did not seem to have any trouble.

For the stand you have a few choices, what height do you want to mount it?

There a mounts for the center vents, or others that connect in the side of the HU others that screw to the dash, and gooseneck models that allow you a little more fexibility with mounting.

For the sound:
1. are you using the OEM head unit, if not what do you have?
2. Do you have a CD changer
