$140 to Replace cracked Fog Lamp?...

So I noticed the other day that one or my fog lamps was cracked. I figured that all I needed to replace would be the lens on the outside, but the dealer told me this morning that it would be $140 ( ) to replace cause the whole thing has to be replaced. I have to call BS on this. Even if the whole thing has to be replaced, at $140 it isn't worth it for me cause the light still works and the cracks on the lense do not effect the direction of the light coming out.

Any thoughts on what really needs to be replaced, if anything? Has anyone had the same thing happen?

I also recently noticed my left fog lamp glass cover was cracked. The bulb is works fine, but I would like to get it fixed if it's relatively inexpensive. $140 is definitely out of the "worth fixing it" range. I wonder if this could be obtained from a junk yard.

How is that BS?
I would say it is BS if you really would have to replace all of the wiring and bulb to fix the cracked glass problem, but all that is needed should be the casing, but the fact that the whole light has to be replaced sucks quite a bit...
Ever tried Yoga?

Here is your mantra:

"German Engineering" "German Engineering" "German Engineering" "German Engineering" "German Engineering" "German Engineering" "German Engineering" "German Engineering" "German Engineering" "German Engineering"....etc.

I just replaced both fogs for $140 plus shipping from Liberty (they rock!). Saved $125 on the parts vs. what my stealer wanted, and the $150 they wanted to install them. Took me 15 minutes.
