Wow! 19s, that is pushing the limit! How do they feel in terms of rubbing?

When I was getting the rims, I came up with that point with the people, they measured it and everything, and got me the right offset, (37mm front) (34mm back), so I have no problems with rubbing or anything, when the Fabrizo (www.ef1motorsports.net) dropped my car he made very hard and ruff turns to check if it would rub, and to his suprise, it did not. Many people told me it would, Alfred (Pres. of http://www.vwcola.com) was accually there when I was dropping it, and he was putting a scare into me, he was telling me that for sure it will rub. He left before we had a chance of test driving it, but it has been a few weeks, I think the drop has fully set. No rubs, or anything yet. I'll keep you posted if anything happens!

But, changing from my stock 15s to 19s, made the car really bumpy because of the 35 series tires. I still had my stock shocks and springs on there, and the car was very bumpy, now with the drop, I can feel almost all the bumps. But I would never give up my 19s! hehehe http://images.zeroforum.com/smile/emsmilep.gif

Awesome ride...the Votex front looks gorgeous with those rims, and that height...great job!

Those 19s are friggin tight, but I just realized you have 5% tints...DAMN! All the drool I mention in my signature is solely due to your ride...damn!

Looking good there Alex! Actually, if you have not already experienced it, the rubbing would be from going up driveways at an angle, but if it doesn't, cool! Knock on wood. Well, enjoy your new set up!

Alfred, haha, no rubbing yet man, but my friend who just dropped his car at EF1 too he has some Sportec's 19s that stick out, when he turns the steering wheel all the way on a sharp turn, I can hear his wheels rubbing. I'm still very unhappy with my back offset, told the guy at the shop, he told me he took my orginal offset with my 15s and used his computer to get the right one, so I ordered a 8mm H&R spacer from Fabrizo, and he is going to install it once he gets it in for the back wheels. And thanks for refering me to Blownaway, I talked to him, I'm going to get the side skirts first, then a few pay checks later the back part.

Nice looking car. Makes me look forward to what my car might look like one day. I like the clean lines. Subtle and clean. http://images.zeroforum.com/smile/emthup.gif

Okay, the licenses plate holder has a bunch of holes all over it, so all I did was line it up with my factory holes that where on my bumper already and used a bunch of double sided heavy du. Tape from Radio Shack, which goes through car washs and rain perfect. Was one of the fastest mods I did that had a big look difference on my car...

:drink: Alex Thank you for making some modifications to your car it looks great. From the lights to the side skirts to the front body kit. To the stereo system that shakes up my balls when im two blocks away.

But What is up with these VW meetings why do people come to these meetings to display there vehicles that have green floor mats. and blacked out lights? It's like going to the VW dealership. Please people do something to your car.
