Hey ppsuay, you can get the chrome door handles from either hkb5variant or airwalk. Maybe the shipping from airwalk would be cheaper. They just go over the stock handles with double sided tape. About a 2 minute mod.

How do you like the ride with your 235/40-18 wheels/tire combo? Is your car a daily driver? Do you cringe whenever you go over potholes/bumps?

The ride is pretty rough (I noticed this after I put on 205/50-17's for winter). But I'm used to it. You gotta give up something to get 18s, and sacrificing a bit of ride comfort isn't too bad for me.

The car is definitely a daily driver. I beat my car to death. It gets driven in every condition. I do ocassionally cringe over pothole/bumps, but I've gotten used to it. Slowing down in new areas usually keeps me out of trouble. Fast driving is left exclusively for highways/freeways.

Yeah, the tails are tinted, a la jonboy. There's defintiely a layer of clearcoat, but you should pm jonboy to confirm.

Julian, how do you like those Stilauto's? Any issues with them, things you don't like? I really wish they made them in an 18 but I see they're only done in 17's and 19's.

They are fine. I've had no problems with them whatsoever. Only thing that I don't like is the style. I don't think it looks that great on my car, but that's just a personal opinion. They've held up well all winter and it does show off the brakes nicely.

No you did'nt say anything wrong , the problem is that everytime i was suposed to go to a GTG or show where i could see Julian's car , something happened .

GTG at Brian's : He decided to go to Cali
GTG at his house : I had to work saturday.
Waterfest : My car broke down half way trough NJ.
Hot Import Nights : they denied all the passat registrations
GTG at Mike's ( Treffend der Hamster) : He couldn'd go

so eventhough He's lives kinnda close to me , we are never at the same place at the same time ......
