2002 B5.5 5spd 1.8t - Silver/ Black Leather
This is the way the car came stock, as you can see the wheels and suspension were a major improvement.

I just put on the suspension and wheels as of last weekend, 8/24/02. I had ordered the Neuspeed Sport Springs, which is what the box said and no indication of the spring model on the front springs, but when I went to install them I noticed the rears said Sofsports.
I thought to myself, I will try the sofsports instead of the Sports I had ordered to see if they meet my expectations. I was using Bilstein Sports from a '99 (new) because they do not have the struts out for the 2002, but since I had the slotted fronts (set to the lowest setting) I did not need to change the seat and packing.
As you can see the car rides pretty low, which is a surprise, so I don't exactly know what the deal is with the Sofsports. I would be scared to drive the car with Sports.

The only complaint I have of the wheel/tire and suspension setup is the rubbing of the tires on the wheel well liner. I haven't heard of other Club B5ers having really any problems running 235-40 but my setup seems to rub quite often, still looking for a remedy to that problem. The tires are rubbing at 12 o'clock on the plastic fastener that holds the wheel well lining in place. Other than that, I am really happy the way the car turned out.
