That thing is sick. I saw it couple of weeks ago, and love it. Dubs on that thing look just right. It fills the wheel arches quite well.

Well done Mike, my next car will be a wagon for sure.

That is exactly the look I want. I am just not a fan of lowering anything since I once lowered an S-10 and tore the transmisson pan out and it cost me a fortune to repair it and since I lowered it, the tranny was then not covered in the warentee since I had altered the stock suspension resulting in me tearing it out!!!! It was a mess......

I would much rather just buy some big ass 20"s, spend some good money and make it look not lowered but wheel well gapless. I am just curious also if they rub anywhere under the fender? I also dont want to have them rolled unless I can have it done really nicely. I am just curious if 20"s will fit on a GLS as well as they fit on your W8 and what offset I can use to minimize any kind of rub. Bubb Rubb?

WOO WOO!!!!!!!!!!!

By far, very nice car! Just had a few questions, tire size? And did you have to re-calibrat the cluster in order for the MPH and mileage is displayed correctly? My friend had to on his STS Cadi...

I was wondering the same thing. Also I was wondering if it is lowered. W8 never seems to answer his questions about his car.

Summer has come and it is once again a great time for a Get Together here in the Pacific Northwest.

This is for our 2nd Annual Pacific Northwest Get Together, which will be held in Ocean Shores Washington on the week-end of the 23rd and 24th of July. Last year’s event brought 13 B5 and B5.5 together from Washington, Oregon and British Colombia and was a good success. We are planning for a bigger and better event this year.

It will be a two days event but everyone is welcome to come for both days or 1 day if that’s all the time you have. All details have not been worked out just yet but as it stands right now, the 23rd will be the drive down (or up, depends where you are coming from) and we would all meet at a designated location. We would find our accommodations and do some activities that evening. On the following day the 24th July, we would do a drive and BBQ and find our way home after that.

To find all details and progress on this event, please go to the following link http://www.passatworld.com/forums/showthread.php?t=178550 and don’t forget to sign up while you are there. It will be updated weekly. This event will be a lot of fun and another great excuse to gather our beloved Passats and see each other again or meet new people as well.

If you need any other help or information, you can contact me (Yannick) at sssrah@msn.com or Alex at alexh@kvichak.com .

Sincerely; Yannick/ Rah on Passatworld
Alex/ SeattleReign on Passatworld
