Monsoon Radio Not Working

It doesn't work at all. I checked the fuse (#37 I believe and it seems ok). Is there another fuse in back of the radio? How do I take the radio out? The CD changer in the trunk does not work as well. Please respond ASAP if you have any sugestions. Thanks.

mine was not a fuse problem. they said it was a loose fuse connection. bring it to the dealer and have it fixed, i know some 2002 double din monsoon had problems

I checked all the fuses and the connection. How do you take out the head unit? Is there a fuse on back of the unit?

Had the same dead Monsoon unit. If you haven't "pulled" the radio fuse out, try that and reinstall after about a minute. That fixed mine. Sometimes you have to pull the fuse at the back of the head unit. Don't know why this fixes the problem, the dealer doesn't either, but that's what they recommend trying first. It worked for me. If that doesn't work... go back to the dealer and they will give you a new head unit.

Mine worked fine for about a month after this first problem and then the radio reception died... nothing, but the CD worked well. The dealer finally replaced the head unit, the antenna and cables.

Now all is fine.
