In Oregon it is extremley difficult to keep clean. The black car is going to send me to my grave! My Magnaflow muffler was the muffler and tips all in one! I really like the way it looks on my car. Hopefull soon I will get the heat shield to wrap around my lower cut-out valance.

A better lighting investment would be a set of Ecodes or Hella Projector Xenon lights. Having 4 fog lamps will not add any vision.

Are you lower fogs wired to turn off with your highs like they should for maximum visibility?

I had a relay burn out so they were not working and I couldn't believe how impacted my lighting was. Also, I have had those on since I bought the car. To answer your question; my Fogs are wired with my OEM fogs. If I have my brights on then the fogs go off. Hella makes a great Fog lamp kit for the B5, it looks more factory too. it replaces the outer grills with projector fogs.

Just a thought.

Sure, the Euro look these days is based on mono-chromatic colored wheels, but I've always been partial to the chrome look. Especially on a black car. Your car looks terrific. And it's even better because fewer people in the Euro scene use chrome in such a classy way. As some (non-rice) friends tell me, "Show some chrome, or take your ass home." :thumbup:

I love your B5!!! I just picked up a 2001 GLS Black Magic/Black Leather V6 Tiptronic a couple of weeks ago. I love it, but it's my first time owning a black car and keeping it clean in Los Angeles is going to be tricky. I'll have to get a Zender spoiler, tinted tails, and the Oettinger front grill like you since I love that look. My questions is ....

Does that Oettinger grill have a cut out for the VW logo, or can you get it without? I love the painted rim of the grill, but I'm thinking I want to get rid of the badge on the front. Any suggestions?
