John, Thanks for participating. I think it will be great that people can purchase and have chips installed right there at the Big Huge.

I suggest that anyone who wants a chip to make an "appointment" beforehand. I'd hate to see someone want a chip and not be able to get it installed because there was no time. John tells me that "walk-ups" are welcome, but an appointment would make the day flow better.

Also, if you are hoping to win the chip in the raffle, don't let it stop you from buying one. If you are the lucky winner and you've already purchased a chip... John will refund you.

Also also, I spoke with Andy (formerly of UPsolute, now with Ross-Tech) and he won't be able to make the event, but has told me that he'll make sure John has plenty of VAG-COMs available for purchase as well.

Also also also, I was speaking with the manager of Middletown VW, the host of the event, and was working on some parts department discounts for you all. I'll let you know more when I find out.

Are the painted grills still available? Was considering painting my stock grill anyhow, but why not recycle quality used parts. I would definitely take one (or both) off your hands if they are in decent shape.

Anywho, I have a B5 Kamei grille for sale in the mesh pattern. (After taking it off, I realized I like the stock grille better.) Very good condition. $80 firm.

Also, I have a big collection of Car and Driver magazines. Almost complete over the last 15 years, but not quite. Most of the issues including B5/B5.5 reviews are in there (I don't need the reviews on my own car.) I'm entertaining offers and am willing to sell individual issues for a low, low price....

Finally, the odd stuff like 3 VW center caps that fit some wheel that I don't own, and a piece of passenger side front door trim (brand new) that was misordered to replace the REAR door trim....

Well, I've only had a request for one of my Adelaide rims.

I'll let them go for $40 each at the Big Huge - but I'm only going to bring those that are spoken for. These have some curb scrapes on the very outer bead, otherwise they are good. I also have one that got chipped (with the chip too) - it will go at the BH for $15.
