How to threads?

Just got a Passat CC and want to cover the standard silver trim interior with some carbon wrap.

Was looking for instructions on HoW To.... take off the trim pieces but can't see it on this site.

Wife has a Vectra so am in vectra forum which has a useful how to thread, wondered if one is on here somewhere as can't see it?

there are lots of how-to DIY threads here in the Information Base forum. there aren't a lot of B6 or CC entries, tho; I welcome your input, and if you put one together, I'll enter it for you.

Not very many people own CC's on this forum, and as you can imagine those who do aren't really tearing into their cars to modify them. (especially seeing as most of them are still under warranty) What is it that you are trying to do? You say that you are ttrying to remove the trim pieces? You mean on the dash? I believe there is already a thread on how to do that. you may have to search for it though.

i make my fair share of how-to's for the b5's area and it's as newman says. they are only made when one member needs to do something and has the spare time and willingness to write up and coordinate the process into a moderately well written easily understood document with pictures. it can take a few good hours of your time to do, but they are fun to make. i do it to show off ;)

back on a serious note, just be careful, get the manual and write some up if there's something you need to do, and think you have the ability to do it.
