    Does anyone make a Cold Air Intake for the B5.5?

    Im new to this forum, so i have probably been looking in all the wrong places, but it seems impossible to find a cold air intake for my v6 30V passat. Please help.

    Yes, Volkswagen makes a cold air intake for the B5.5. They were even nice enough to install it standard on all B5.5's. However, if what you're really asking for is a shiny aluminum tube, yes, those are available, and no, they don't work well.

    Or you can do this: Bearded baby Jesus loves ghetto mods.

    Actually, a lot of cars have cold air intakes on them, even ones you wouldn't expect, like my 1989 Mazda 626 and my dad's old Chrysler minivan, both of which have/had intakes that went through the side of the engine bay and down in front of the driver-side wheelwell. Engineers aren't stupid, they know cold air is better than hot air.
