How to PCV Valve Replacement (2.8L V6)

okay so i bought my 2001.5 B5.5 V6 passat back in august of 2008 and i started to smell oil burning well come to find out my valve cover gasket had started leaking. well as working on all kinds of motors most of the time the PCV valve is either clogged or inoperable. well mine was broken in three places from being brittle from heat and it being plastic. I did research and the only two places i found this part was ECStuning.com and the Stealership.

Unfortunately I bought from the Stealership

    alright fresh start

    remove covers

remove PCV unfortunately mine was horrible and finished off while removing

    left side (left nipple circled)

    right side

there was another brittle hose on the bottom portion i fixed it temporarily beware!! also the two clamps circled i replaced those with the kind seen. the originals have to be pryed apart.

    quick fix (temporary)

replace the clips shown here with the flat head screw in them

    finished product (right nipple circled)

my second beauty sat right beside my first the whole time

There is also another hose that runs from under the throttle body to under the intake manifold. Mine was cracked and leaked onto the trans and then the exhaust.
