The engine light first came on when I didnt have the gear fully engaged in reverse and it made a loud squeel noise when I accellerated. I brang it to the mechanic and he said these codes poped up in the scan and he reset the check engine light and it didnt come back on when he started the car again. However, it did come back 4 days later when I was reversing. Any help? thanks guys...any feedback is muchly appreciated

the coolant temp sensor code is likely to be a potential culprit that is causing the cat code. the cam code could be a cam sensor.

1. replace the coolant temp sensor.
2. replace the cam sensor.

clear the codes, bet they don't come back.

i hope all i got to do is replace the sensors, do you know anything about the camshaft one if it could be connected with the manuel transmission? because the engine light came on when in reverse both times, the 2nd time after the car was sitting for a few hours.

thanks for the feedback, much appreciated.
