    DDM HID bulb issues

So i purchased the 55W 6000k HID kit from DDM tuning last december, and they worked fine up until recently, when my driver side bulb began projecting a yellowish tint much different from the passenger side bulb which stayed the bluish white tint it was supposed to be. What causes this to happen, and is it normal? is a color variation covered under DDM's warranty? if not i know the replacement bulbs are only 15$, what should i do at this point?

P.s. is it strange that i had to turn on the power to my headlights before i turned on the car ? because if i didnt do so, the passenger bulb would never turn on.

Email DDM and report back, imo. No point in us speculating without hearing their response.

I already have. sounds like a waste of time.

***SPECIAL NOTE REGARDING BULBS and BALLASTS and LIGHT ASSEMBLIES***
If you are returning a faulty bulb, only ship the defective bulb.

For High/Low Bulbs, please keep the High/Low harness if the harness is functional. If the High/Low harness is defective, please return the harness.

For High/Low Bulbs, if the bulbs are functional and the High/Low harness is defective, please return only the High/Low harness.

If you are returning a faulty ballast, please return ONLY the defective ballast. Please note that the Slim Raptor Ballast HID Kits sold in 2009 (the ballasts are silver and about 0.5" thick) only had a one year warranty and are no longer covered under warranty. The Full Size Raptor Ballast HID Kits have a lifetime warranty (ballasts are silver and about 1" thick).

Unless otherwise specifically authorized by DDM Tuning, please do NOT return the following items: functional ballasts, functional bulbs, the adapter wires that connect the stock wiring to the ballast, and HID accessory wiring harnesses. If you are unsure as to what to return, we will be happy to advise you further.

For wiring harnesses, before shipping for a warranty claim, please confirm that the control box (for a H/L harness) and relay (for an accessory HID harness) is not corroded. Corrosion is not covered under the warranty.

If you are returning tail lights or headlights, please return only the part that needs to be replaced. Please keep the functional portion(s).

Swap bulbs side to side and see if the issue follows the bulb or stays with the ballast. Then contact DDM.
