    How to remove dashboard

I have 2001 V6 B5 Passat and I often hear radio static when car is driven on rough surfaces. If I hit my dashboard by steering wheel, the static stops and I hear a weird noise. I belive something is loose under the dash and want to see what's going on under.
Anyone has a detailed instruction on removing the dashboard and puting it back? Also estimated time and difficulty?

Wow, I don't know if I am able to do the job alone. Thank you anyway for the information.

I normally pull dashboards out of cars by neccissity to replace heater cores, that being said the Passat is one of my least favorites to do.

Ho, THIS brings me back - I pulled the dash out of my B1 (yes, one) many years ago, in search of some squeaks. Afterward, I swore to never, EVER do that again - and the B1 was a much simpler car. And you know, I didn't even get all the squeaks.

If I couldn't see the problem after removing the radio and looking behind, I'd just suck it up.
