I have had the car plugged into and seen briefly by an auto spark but the fault is intermittent and it seems when it's dry the car is fine but wet I get the fault I've cleaned all plugs below the ecu with contact cleaner and dried it all out. Can there be any other obvious reasons or places for it to be shorting or corroded. I have replaced pedal, tps and the small loom from the sensor to the car loom.

Thank you for your reply, I have replaced the pedal and that seems fine as we ran it through the computer real time and it was reading good. I think it has to be a connection or short but I'm not to sure which wires or plugs will be connected to the TPS. Could it be down to an earth shorting out?
Andy, I've merged your threads. I've also moved it onto the proper forum here - this looks to be a TDi specific problem, so it is now in the TDi forum.
This is an older thread, you may not receive a response, and could be reviving an old thread. Please consider creating a new thread.
