Cliff Notes version of the story......

I have a set of these on my W8. After dealing with a slow leak for about a week from one tire, I come to find out my wheel had a 1" crack. Thinking the worst, I freak out and went on a hunt to get a replacement wheel, to which I discover is NLA anywhere.

I managed to find this set online after searching for 3 days non-stop. The seller would not split the set, so I bought them all. Three wheels are still in the original boxes with BBS valve stems and aluminum caps. One wheel was not in a box and I wound up mounting it for less than 24 hrs so I could get my wheel repaired. The BBS valve stem was not used, so you get 4 new in package valve stems and caps.

So, this is basically a new set of wheels with just one wheel being "borrowed" for temp use. Its been cleaned up and looks like the other three new wheels, but I wanted to disclose the usage.

I paid $1150 for the set. Just looking to recoup my money and get these wheels out of my garage, so will sell for $1075 to offset the 24 hrs the one wheel was mounted on my car.

I'd prefer a local sale, but will ship at buyer's expense. I will ship UPS only with tracking and insurance.

My daughter was just born last week, so been too busy to get pics and post. Will do so by weekend. Wanted to at least get them listed on here.

Not that bad.....that's just the back corner. Both cars still fit inside with plenty of walk around room.

Very nice rims. I wish I had the money. And keith, you ain't seen a crowded garage til you've seen mine. I have to tuck both mirrors to fit my passat in! Even then, I'm very nervous because my bike is essentially hanging over my car!

Perhaps there is another box in your garage, just taking up space, that if parted with it and its contents, you could afford a set of backup VZs... just sayin'

YUP, I am loco. Have a set on the wagon for the summer, loving them!!! Have a new set for back up for the wagon. The 3rd set would be for the sedan all year around & get rid of the huffs.

I may be incorrect calling them "sport", but they were a Passat option.
